Peter Wengryn is an accomplished senior executive with an MBA and over 25 years of experience in senior leadership and management roles within various industries; high tech, advertising, PR, traditional and digital media, software, engineering, healthcare, and service industries. 

Peter is an enterprising and accomplished operational growth strategist with a comprehensive background in business development, operations management, and employee and client relations for startups and small-to-medium businesses (SMBs). His accomplishments include executing change tactics to drive $100M revenue and scaling startups by leveraging existing relationships with major banks to raise capital. Peter leverages an entrepreneurial and analytical mindset to control decisions, operational policies and procedures, profits and losses, mergers and acquisitions, and team management. He also possesses a keen ability to identify profitable opportunities, define change, and devise unique competitive advantages.

Peter’s career began in the financial sector, working for some industry powerhouses like Credit Suisse First Boston, Chase Manhattan Bank, and GE, where he successfully ascended the corporate ladder. From there, he continued his successful career in finance by acting as Chief Financial Officer at VMS. The leaders at VMS quickly realized Peter’s value and promoted him to Chief Executive Officer, where he not only managed a large staff and negotiated/executed 4 M&A integrations, but he also drove transformative change that elevated the company from being in the red to double-digit growth of more than $100M. Peter also restructured VMS by negotiating partner and owner buy-outs and leaning on close relationships with various banks to close equity deals amounting to $100M.

The last 13 years of Peter’s career included a successful startup he built from the ground and multiple executive-level roles. He has built a solid reputation for assessing operations, creating standard operating procedures, building business plans and models, and ensuring homogenous business rhythms, perpetuating each company as a leader in their respective industry. Peter’s ability to guide operational synergies is unmatched and is evidenced by 6 M&As that he’s managed and integrated, the two companies that he’s positioned for divestiture and executed successful exits (and 1 that offered 10X EBITDA), and his ability to coach and mentor hundreds of staff even to the point of stewarding their career progression into executive positions.

Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration degree. He also has been invited to speak at prominent events, including IBM’s World of Watson and the European PR Summit in Barcelona. He’s been named Power Player in the PR industry by PR Week because of his talent for launching new SaaS products and crafting robust GTM strategies that captivate audiences. On top of all that, Peter has been instrumental in guiding his teams to achieve record-breaking sales.
